Prism Art Therapy

Art Therapist, PhD, LPAT, CLAT, ATR-BC
Last Updated 30+ days ago

If you feel stuck, off-track, or “aren’t living up to your potential" despite trying, I want to help you get more out of your college experience and life. My typical client has a sense of their difficulties from an intellectual standpoint, but they feel like emotional healing is beyond reach. Art therapy can help you process issues on a deeper feeling level. No artistic skill is required and it can actually be fun. My approach is rooted in feminist and liberation psychology theories so we'll consider both individual and contextual factors contributing to your distress. My specialties include women with late-diagnosed or suspected ADHD, chronic illness, food & body image issues, and grief. As a neurodivergent, queer, kind of awkward weirdo, I understand feeling like the so-called square peg in a round hole, so I'd like to help you find a path forward that allows you to confidently be yourself, make the most of your strengths, and live your best life.
