  • Clinical Social Work/Therapists
  • Marriage & Family Therapists
  • Psychologists

Welcome to Positive Developments. We are a private group practice established over 15 years ago by three licensed psychologists. Our team of therapists work with individuals and families at all stages of life. We offer a wealth of expertise in treating a full range of emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal issues. Many of us particularly enjoy working with young adults and college students as they deal with transitions from HS to college and then post-college. We help them to manage academic, campus, and social stressors and with ongoing identity development, future planning, and relationships of all kinds.

Our therapists focus on promoting growth, change, resilience, and contentment. Treatment is guided by our view that each individual is part of a larger context including family, school, work, community, and culture.

We use multiple treatment approaches tailored to meet each client’s specific needs. These approaches include but are not limited to insight-oriented, interpersonal, mindfulness based, and cognitive-behavioral therapies. We help clients better understand and regulate their feelings, improve self-esteem, find joy, improve interpersonal relationships, and learn more effective coping and problem-solving skills.
