Playful Attachment Counseling
Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Clinical Social Work/Therapists
At Playful Attachment Counseling, we believe:
1. No one knows you better than you.
This reflects our confidence in you and our belief that you will be honest and forthcoming when you're prepared to share.
Our therapists approach each client with compassion, aiming to help you overcome any emotional obstacles that could hinder your treatment.
2. All behavior has a purpose.
Whether you realize it or not, crying “out of nowhere” or getting angry “over something stupid” isn’t really the problem.
We believe that your body is communicating. It’s our job to help you listen so you can finally understand yourself better and live your best life.
3. You don’t know what you don’t know.
Meaning if no one ever taught you how to cope positively with life’s tough events, how in the world are you supposed to just know the right way to handle stress?
Trick question: YOU’RE NOT!
In our opinion, you set yourself up for failure if you expect to handle a situation differently when you never learned how to cope positively, to begin with.
Makes no sense.
Of course, you’re going to revert to“old habits”; you never learned new ones!
We see you.
We got you.
