Phylicia Keys
Phylicia Keys, PhD, LLMSW (she/her) brings over a decade of experience working in community and educational settings, supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges with authenticity and growth. She holds both a PhD and Master’s in Social Work and is also a certified yoga instructor, integrating body-based awareness into her work when it aligns with the client’s needs.
Her approach is holistic and strengths-based, viewing healing as a process that includes mind, body, and behavior. Rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and culturally responsive practice, Phylicia helps clients develop practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, and mood challenges while deepening self-understanding and self-compassion.
Phylicia works collaboratively with adolescents and adults, and she specializes in supporting older adults (55+) as they navigate life transitions, shifting roles, grief and loss, identity changes, retirement adjustment, and finding renewed purpose and connection.
Whether it’s processing transitions, navigating relationships, or rediscovering purpose, Phylicia’s approach is compassionate, empowering, and designed to meet clients where they are in their journey. If this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning with new goals, Phylicia’s goal is to help you find clarity, direction, and sustainable change.
