I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia with over 25 years of experience. I have worked with a diverse population in a variety of settings which include a Prison, Mental Health Hospital, and a University College Counseling Center. I have had the privilege of working with clients with a wide range of issues/concerns including Depression, PTSD, Panic Attacks, Career Issues, Anxiety, Relationship issues, family Conflict, Poor Communication, Self Confidence, Self Esteem, and LGBT Issues.
My Counseling Style is non-judgmental, Compassionate, and Personable. I always strive to understand, support and show empathy and be compassionate when working with my clients. I typically use a Person-Centered approach combined Strength focused and personal standpoint utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology when working with individuals. I use each methodology to help the client develop healthy coping skills and an action plan with the goal of creating a stable mental place that the client can maintain and meet their goals.
I am part of the Path referral network, which means that when you reach out, my team will get back to you quickly to schedule our first session. I am committed to making therapy affordable. Through Path, I am in-network for most commercial insurances, so you're only responsible for your co-pay!
