I work well with students who might feel a lot of pressure to be "perfect." You may be having a tough time keeping up with the pressures and expectations of your academics, including: grades, assignments, time management, and interest/motivation to go to class and focus. Even if you are performing well, the excessive anxiety can be burdensome and tiring. I can help you manage this anxiety so that school doesn't have to be so overwhelming.

I've also worked with many students who are dealing with issues of disordered eating, excessive exercise, and anxiety with body image, weight, and shape. I attempt to help you figure out and manage the exhaustion that comes along with attempting to manage these issues at the expensive of your own well-being and joy.

Finally, I have worked with students around depression and trauma. Symptoms of trauma and depression are typically very similar if not exactly the same. I utilize a treatment model called EMDR to help you work through painful past experiences that might be interfering with your ability to live your life fully now. I hope that through our work, you'll begin to feel better, more joyful, and more able to immerse yourself in your life experience with vigor and hope for your future.

I find a lot of meaning and purpose in my work with students and I look forward to the opportunity to helping you find your way to a more fulfilling life.

For the time being, we are offering general support groups for students who are experiencing anxiety and depression as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic at a reduced rate for $50 per group. The group will be 1.5 hours in length on a weekly basis. We will cap the group at 8 individuals and all groups will be conducted online. If you are interested in joining a group, please reach out to us.

I currently have a waitlist, but Living Fully Psychological Services has fantastic staff. Please email us to find a staff member who might be the right fit for you or I would be happy to add you to my own waitlist.
