My therapeutic approach is based on the cognitive behavioral therapy model in which I’m TEAM-CBT certified by the Feeling Good Institute, in addition to holding an advanced CBT training certification from New York University.
TEAM-CBT draws attention to checking in with symptoms at the beginning and end of each session. With self-compassion and understanding, it disarms resistance to change and boosts motivation through agenda setting. With dozens of tried-and-true methods, personal challenges undergo a transformation into feeling good about oneself.
