Patricia Lomando, LCSW, RPT-S
Hi, I'm Patricia:). I help students who have spent their lives feeling different, misunderstood, or like they don't quite fit the boxes everyone else seems comfortable in.
Many of my clients are neurodivergent (ADHD, autism, AuDHD), highly sensitive, creative and/or deep thinkers. Some are navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, relationship challenges, identity exploration, academic pressure, or the impact of difficult life experiences. Others simply want a space where they don't have to explain or hide parts of who they are.
I've worked with children, teens, adults, and families for 27 years, always through a collaborative, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed approach. As someone who is neuordivergent myself and who values curiosity, creativity, authenticity and seeing beyond labels, I often connect especially well with people who feel different from the norm and are looking for a therapist who understands that lived experience.
I am a level 1 IFS therapist, a level 2 EMDR therapist, a Certified Autplay Provider and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I am especially passionate about supporting others in understanding and holding compassion for the many different parts of themselves. One way I do this is through incorporating expressive arts such as art, imagery, journaling, and sandtray (both physical and virtual).
Therapy with me is a place to explore who you are underneath the masks, to rekindle that spark of joy, and to continue building a life that feels authentic, regulated, and maintainable.
