I am a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a certified EMDR/Trauma therapist. Substance use can be part of the college experience, but it can also create pain and difficulty in navigating that experience. Substance abuse can be related to earlier trauma, or can cause exposure to traumatic experiences. in my practice, I work with individuals to create safe space to work on substance related life issues and trauma recovery issues.
