Orna Isaacson
Greetings! I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with mild to severe mental health issues. Many of the individuals I have worked with have endured mild to severe trauma that manifests in the form of depression, anxiety, guilt, shame, difficulty forming meaningful and healthy connections, flashbacks, trust issues, and emotional dysregulation. Another area of experience and interest is working with individuals who have not experienced trauma and who are seeking support with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, grief and loss, academic pressures, family issues, parenting concerns, and coping with the stressors of managing a more balanced lifestyle. I draw from various treatment approaches to provide tailored therapy experiences. I strive to provide a warm, safe, non-judgmental space for individuals, couples and families to process through their thoughts and feelings for symptom reduction as well as to help in the development of skills to optimally align behaviors with values. I practice a collaborative approach and appreciate the importance of trust, empathy and authentic connection in each therapeutic relationship. I offer in-person therapy as I find it important to optimize the therapeutic alliance and connection. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
