In her Newton Center Private Practice, Dr Oria Shadmon sees children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of therapeutic needs around stress, anxiety, depression, body image and eating-related issues, learning, perfectionism, trauma, relationships, young adulthood challenges, identity development, cross-cultural adjustment, and life transitions. Dr Shadmon received her PhD in Developmental psychology from BU and in clinical psychology from MSPP and altogether has more than 20 years of clinical experience. Dr Shadmon integrates various theoretical and treatment approaches, in an attempt to meet each client's individual needs. She strives to enhance health and empowerment by teaching clients coping skills and helping them identify and capitalize on their strengths. Her style is warm and relational, and she promotes a therapeutic process which builds on an active client-therapist collaboration.
