Open Minds Therapy
Milford, Delaware | Telehealth across Delaware
Open Minds Therapy is a trauma-focused group practice offering telehealth and in-person services to individuals navigating the lasting effects of trauma, grief, identity, and life transitions. Our clinicians are licensed, experienced, and grounded in evidence-based, integrative approaches that honor the whole person, including the body, the mind, and the deeper layers of lived experience.
We specialize in trauma-focused care, including EMDR, somatic therapies, parts-based approaches, and depth psychological frameworks. Our work is regulation-first and relationship-centered, meaning we prioritize creating genuine safety before asking clients to move into difficult material. We believe that healing happens at the client's pace, not according to a predetermined timeline.
Open Minds Therapy is explicitly affirming and inclusive. We provide specialized, culturally responsive care for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, first responders, veterans, people navigating addiction and recovery, and those from multicultural and marginalized communities. Every clinician in our practice is committed to meeting clients where they are, without judgment and without pressure to present differently than they are.
We offer telehealth services across Delaware making care accessible regardless of location, schedule, or mobility. In-person sessions are available at our Milford, Delaware office for clients who prefer or benefit from face-to-face care.
If you are looking for a practice that takes trauma seriously, affirms your identity, and works collaboratively with you rather than at you, Open Minds Therapy may be a strong fit.
