Open Doors Counseling Center
Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Counselors
- Pre-Licensed Professionals
As someone who has walked through my own counseling experience, I know how vital it is that the counseling process feels safe. I am so honored that individuals, couples, families, and groups would allow me to enter into the counseling process with them.
As someone who works with children, adolescents, and adults, I use a client-centered and integrative approach. I have over 11 years of experience working with a wide range of ages in various roles and believe that working collaboratively with other providers, teachers, school counselors, etc. is very integral in the counseling process.
I have extensive experience working with individuals who are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, relational struggles, trauma, divorce, ADHD, and those who are battling chronic illnesses. I pull in different therapeutic modalities that include but are not limited to emotionally-focused, narrative, attachment-based, trauma-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and play therapy techniques.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Child and Family Studies with a Community Outreach concentration from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. My Masters of Arts in Counseling degree is from Reformed Theological Seminary – Orlando. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running, and traveling.
