I specialize in counseling teenagers, college students, and young adults with various concerns, such as anxiety, self esteem, familial relationships, life transitions, trauma, social skills, and academic stress. I am particularly passionate about helping teenagers and young adults learn coping skills and discover self confidence to help navigate through difficult life transitions, academic and career stress, and relationship stress.
The college and young adult years are some of the most difficult and stressful years of your life also filled with a newfound freedom and independence. Many students and young adults struggle with anxiety, stress, and pressure when moving through these life transitions, finding new friend groups, discovering a career path, and simply learning what life looks like away from home. I am here to help you realize that it is completely normal to feel anxiety, but coping skills and self esteem work can help you to feel more confident throughout these years.
The relationship between the client and counselor is one the most important tools for growth, so I prioritize building the relationship with the client to create a safe, comfortable, and fun space for each individual. A counselor meets you wherever you are in life and helps you grow at a rate that feels comfortable to you, and I am here to support you and help you establish the confidence, emotional management skills, and coping skills that are specifically helpful to you.
