I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I treat patients of all ages including college students and young adults. If you are in college or you have a new job and are finding things to be very hard and perhaps not what you expected, you have difficulty staying on task. You know you're much more capable than your current grades or performance evaluations reflect. If you have so much worry/anxiety or unexpected sadness; or dealing with trauma in life; maybe you are not connecting with friends or co-workers.
