I am a brain body clinician focusing on mental resiliency for patients 14yrs old and up to help navigate stress via lifestyle psychiatry! I have a passion for helping you transition life adjustments whether it be trauma, catastrophic illness/events, unexpected circumstances, spiritual distress, post partum issues or forensic needs. Using an integrative mental health care approach, we will determine your root issues for acute and chronic mental health needs. When appropriate, medication management plus the holistic options to overall brain health will be fundamental to your healing strategies.

Is your Spirit broken? Emotional pain is not always pathology.
As a trauma oriented, non-pathologizing clinician, my focus is not so much what’s “wrong” with you but on what happened to you, and how you survived it.
If disbelief, doubt and destruction are inherit patterns in your life, then we need to explore the root of affliction. This includes a biopsychospiritual approach to healing.

I see it over and over in this field of well intentioned helpers, further wounding. Secondary trauma occurs when someone approaches a psychiatric provider and they are given a mental illness diagnosis. The world wants to label and define! This is toxic. It can cause further self-shame, internal conflict and negatively impact recovery. Consider if what's happened in your experience is an expected traumatic stress reaction? Maybe, even a generational bondage and this dysfunction (temporarily) should NOT be labeled as definitive mental stigma. The root of healing begins in the intent to deliver the spirit into revelation, truth and peace. It starts with head knowledge and then a heart check!
