Dr. Nikita Shah
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward can make life feel harder than it should. If you’re navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, psychosis, or personality difficulties, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Together, we can work towards building a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with your values.
I’m a psychiatrist with years of experience treating individuals from all walks of life, including young adults and college students balancing academics, relationships, and personal growth. I’ve worked in settings ranging from inpatient hospitals to emergency and consultation services, giving me a deep understanding of how mental health challenges impact people in moments of crisis and beyond. Whether you’re facing persistent worries, mood swings, trouble focusing, trauma, or other concerns, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.
I offer individualized care that reflects your unique needs, values, and goals. Our work will focus on understanding your experiences—how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and environment shape your mental health. For those who identify as people of color or come from multicultural backgrounds, I pay special attention to the ways cultural and societal factors influence your mental well-being. Your identity and experiences matter, and they’ll always be respected in our work.
Treatment can include a combination of talk therapy, medication management, and practical strategies to improve day-to-day functioning. Whether it’s learning how to manage your anxiety, stabilizing your mood, improving focus, or addressing trauma, I’m here to support you as you create meaningful change.
Taking that first step to seek help is courageous, and I’m here to make the process as approachable and collaborative as possible. Let’s figure out the best way forward—one step at a time and always with your goals at the center of our work.
