Are there times when you cannot shut off your worried thoughts? Is the adjustment to college more difficult than you imagined?

I am trauma informed and will look at how your thoughts impact your emotions, which impact your behaviors. I believe in the mind-body connection and, depending on your needs, will weave in mindfulness and somatic practices during our work together. I use an affirming lens while tailoring my approach to the holistic needs and pace of each individual.

I have been practicing therapy for over 20 years and the past seven years have been in a college counseling setting.
