- Pre-Licensed Professionals
I am a bilingual psychotherapist fluent in English and in Tagalog, fostering a trusting and collaborative therapeutic environment where you feel acknowledged and understood. Through this partnership, clients explore their needs, process experiences, acquire coping skills, and cultivate a perspective that promotes authentic self-connection and meaningful engagement with the world.
I bring extensive experience from working with diverse individuals and groups, addressing mental health issues such as psychosis, trauma, anxiety, and depression in an inpatient setting. Specializing in grief counseling, I assist people coping with various losses, including relationships, careers, pets, cultures, or hobbies. Drawing from her background as a competitive athlete, I also support athletes with the loss of opportunities, identity, physical abilities, or general sports psychology.
Also as a proud Filipina-American, I recognize the difficulty in discussing emotions and mental health within Asian-American communities due to stigma. I advocate for therapy as a safe space to address emotional struggles, and to also express all types of emotions, including positive one’s such as your strengths and achievements. Regardless of one’s identity within the Asian American Pacific Islander Community, I offer support for various challenges including acculturation, family loss, relationship issues, anxiety, depression and identity struggles.
I understand there is no one-size-fits-all approach; I will personalize the treatment based on your unique needs and situation. I am here to provide a safe and comfortable place for you to be your real, authentic self, to share a great laugh, cry, or any other emotions free of judgment.
