New Directions Colorado
Are you always trying to be perfect? Have you been seeking perfection with food, your body, in relationships, in sports, in academics and in your high-level career? Trying to be “perfect” is exhausting! The pressure, feeling stuck, immobilized -- all of which are holding you captive in a space of uncertainty about yourself. It can be terrifying. Dr. Erica Faulhaber wants to teach you tools to take your life back.
Dr. Erica Faulhaber is passionate about recovery. Recovery from eating disorders, disordered eating, body image struggles, crushed self-esteem, perfectionism and trauma. When we work together, there is a shift in perspective from a victim to survivor. She has experience working at an eating disorder treatment facility along with volunteering time to facilitate eating disorder support groups. Her background also includes experience in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, in running support groups to help with the healing process. Recovery IS possible for you!
Dr. Erica Faulhaber offers traditional talk therapy along with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist), EMDRIA Approved EMDR Consultant, EMDR Certified therapist and National Board Certified Counselor.
