Are you always trying to be perfect? Have you been seeking perfection with food, your body, in relationships, in sports, in academics and in your high-level career? Trying to be “perfect” is exhausting! I know exactly what you're feeling: the pressure, feeling stuck, immobilized -- all of which are holding you captive in a space of uncertainty about yourself. It can be terrifying. I don't want you to experience these feeling anymore. I want to teach you tools to take your life back.

I am passionate about recovery. Recovery from eating disorders, disordered eating, body image struggles, crushed self-esteem, perfectionism and trauma. When we work together, there is a shift in perspective from a victim to survivor. I have experience in working at an eating disorder treatment facility along with volunteering time to facilitate eating disorder support groups. My background also includes experience in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, in running support groups to help with the healing process. Recovery IS possible for you.

I offer traditional talk therapy along with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am a National Board Certified Counselor, Certified EMDR therapist, EMDR Consultant-In-Training and working towards becoming a CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist). I am also in the process of a PhD program in Counselor Education and Supervision.
