Starting therapy can be a challenging process. I aim to create a therapeutic space where you can approach whatever barriers you may be facing with curiosity and safety in knowing you will not be judged.
I specialize in therapy with young/emerging adults and college students experiencing a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, emotion regulation problems, academic/work stress, relationship challenges, and identity concerns. I have additional expertise in working with family members of individuals with serious mental illness, as well as people who identify as LGBTQIA+.
My approach is integrative, primarily grounded in cognitive behavioral theory and supplemented with psychodynamic and relational techniques. I have received training in a variety of evidence-based approaches including DBT, ERP/ExRP, and CBT for psychosis. Our work together will be collaborative, flexible, and goal-oriented.
While it can be hard to take the leap, starting therapy can help put you on the path to the life you want to be living. If you think I may be a good fit for the work you are ready to start, please contact me to schedule a free consultation.
