Nasya Breach
I am a clinical and health psychologist with a background in mind-body-spirit approaches to wellness, and over a decade's worth of experience counseling university students. My practice is focused around supporting BIPOC students in thriving through the unique demands and challenges they face on their journey through academia. I endeavor to co-create with my clients a space that feels warm, safe, grounded and connected, and that allows for open, honest, and focused collaboration. My approach is holistic and integrative, it centers the unique experiences, perspectives and goals of each client, and it is increasingly informed by liberation psychology and decolonizing perspectives.
I am currently offering both short-term (i.e., approx. 6-12 months) and longer term psychotherapy around the following issues:
-anxiety
-insomnia
-adjustment to school
-time management/organization
-stress management
-grief/bereavement

-adjustment to chronic physical illness/disability
-excoriation/trichotillomania disorders
