Counseling is a collaborative effort between the counselor and client. Professional counselors help clients identify goals and potential solutions to problems which cause emotional distress, seek to improve communication and coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, and promote behavior change and optimal mental health.

Alyson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She utilizes a client-centered approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental, and individualized experience from the initial intake until discharge.

Mountain View Counseling LLC offers individual counseling, play therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, family sessions, and marital counseling. Alyson focuses on Clinical and Counseling Psychology but also has a specialization in Addiction. Appointments available for clients ages 8+. State licensing supervision available. Agency trainings also available including Trauma-Informed Care.
