Dr. Wickham possesses a remarkable sense of compassion and unwavering commitment to helping people. She is characterized by her understanding and open-minded nature, recognizing and valuing the trust her clients place in her as a professional guiding them toward improved mental health.
"I believe that it is of utmost importance that my clients and I agree on what is in their best interest, and what works best for them. I believe that therapy is a tool for the individual to heal and improve their mental health, not a lifelong commitment. Therefore, my professional goal is to help my clients achieve their mental health goals within an appropriate time frame."
Dr. Wickham boasts extensive experience in providing evidence-based treatment, unwavering support, understanding, and unconditional positive regard. Her clientele includes individuals of all genders, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, hailing from diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds.
When it comes to treatment, Dr. Wickham follows the evidence-based principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for individual cases. For couples and families, she leans on the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). Dr. Wickham's therapeutic approach is always tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
