Misty Mountains Counseling - Elizabeth Tate LPCC, LCMHCA
It's dangerous to go alone! If you're struggling to cope with stressors or experiencing mental health concerns, you deserve help. Together, we can understand your life experiences so far and envision a better world moving forward. I believe the stories we love can help us heal from our real-life experiences. Stories of heroism, triumph over the odds, and simple survival remind us of our shared humanity and our resilience. Whether it’s a video game, a book, a movie, or a TV show, we can use those references in our talk therapy to understand and change your hero’s journey for the better.
I utilize psychodynamic and person-centered counseling to assist you in growth. In addition to mental health counseling for a variety of concerns, I am also passionate about gender-affirming care and have assisted clients in transition by providing necessary documentation and exploring gender expression.
