Mind Anchor Mental Health is a group psychotherapy practice in Sudbury, MA, serving college students, young adults, adults, and families across MetroWest and Greater Boston. We offer in-person sessions at our Sudbury office and secure telehealth for students anywhere in Massachusetts — so care continues through breaks, remote semesters, and moves between campus and home.
We work with the challenges that show up most in college and early adulthood: anxiety, stress, and burnout; depression and low motivation; performance pressure — including a specialty in working with athletes and high-achievers; relationship struggles (dating, breakups, friendships, family); major transitions; and the identity questions of figuring out who you are and what you want. Our approach is active and practical: we draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and mindfulness-based skills, and we meet students where they are — building trust first, then structure and tools they can use between sessions.
Our clinicians work under the supervision and consultation of our Clinical Director, Allison Flynn, PsyD, and our current openings allow scheduling typically within one week, with daytime and evening hours. We're in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tufts Health Plan; private pay is available, and we provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Referrals are simple: call or text our intake line, and we handle insurance verification and paperwork through a secure client portal — with a warm handoff back to your counseling center whenever a release is in place.
