College was not built for your body or your brain.

You are the one budgeting your energy down to the minute just to make it to a 9am while your roommate pulls an all nighter and bounces. You are the one whose autoimmune flare hit in the middle of midterms and nobody understood why you could not just push through. You are the one whose autism did not get caught until college, when the parent who quietly managed your life was no longer there to do it, and now you are drowning in syllabi and group projects and the unstructured void between classes. You are the one with chronic pain trying to explain to a professor why you missed a Tuesday lecture for the third time without saying the whole thing.

I work with college aged students who are navigating real bodies and real brains in a system that was not designed with you in mind. I am an Advanced Certified Autism Specialist, and I work with autistic students, ADHD students, AuDHD students, and the late diagnosed students who are putting it together for the first time at 19, 22, or 25. I work with students living with autoimmune disorders, chronic illness, and chronic pain, who are exhausted from explaining their bodies to people who do not get it.

I also work with the students who grew up taking care of a parent. The ones whose mom or dad had untreated mental illness or addiction. The ones who left for college and finally had enough quiet to feel what their childhood actually was. The ones still answering the phone at 1am because nobody else will. Untangling all of that from a dorm room is some of the hardest work I do with clients, and some of the most worth it.

My sessions are not cold and clinical. We can talk about heavy things and still inject humor and fun. I am a social worker through and through, which means we will look at the system you are in, not just the symptoms it is producing in you. The bigger picture matters. And so do you.

Like the phoenix, I have risen from the ashes many times, and I come back fierier each time. I can help you do the same.
