Roots of Compassion Therapy PLLC
Hello! My name is Michelle and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State. I specialize in helping adults with bipolar disorder, stress and burnout, and those supporting a loved one in crisis. I'm here to help you lift the weight, problem solve, and find balance.
Maybe you are trying to cope with a bipolar disorder diagnosis that is confusing, stressful, and getting in the way of your academic goals. I'm here to help you navigate challenging symptoms, advocate to get your needs met, and help improve your daily routine and mood stability.
Perhaps you are feeling a sense of dread and unhappiness in your daily routine and school or work-life balance, leading to low motivation and burnout. I understand what it's like being in an environment where you feel unappreciated, unsupported, and stuck. Let's work together to get you to a place where you are more in control, discover what changes you can make to feel happier, and have a clearer vision for the future and how to move forward.
You may be feeling exhausted as a caregiver to a loved one dealing with a mental health or substance use crisis and need more tools to care for yourself. It's okay to give yourself permission to prioritize yourself and maintain your boundaries. I am here to help so you don't have to do this alone. Together, we can figure out the best options for your loved one's needs, bring awareness to what you have control over, and help you find ways to take care of yourself during these distressing times.
I come with almost a decade working in inpatient behavioral health, so I know the importance of having a therapist that understands stress and burnout, those supporting loved ones in crisis, and being able to treat bipolar disorder effectively. Many of my clients were college students and I really enjoyed helping them stabilize, heal, and make decisions on next steps.
I will help you feel lighter with your symptoms, happier in your routine, empowered in your choices, and confident in setting boundaries with yourself and others.
