Michelle Munoz

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working in South Florida for the past six years. I graduated with a Masters in Psychology from Florida International University. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and children. I have worked with clients to help alleviate symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, ADHD, and interpersonal conflicts. I am fluent in both English and Spanish.

I do not believe that therapy is ""One Size Fits All."" So, I use a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivation Interviewing (MI), Behavioral Activation (BA), Mindfulness, Gestalt Therapy to work with my clients. Working at your pace and using your feedback to facilitate the sessions I believe are essential. I also believe in empowering my clients and helping them understand that their opinions and voices matter.

Taking the first step to seek counseling is hard, and I commend you for it. During our time together, I will provide you with tools, resources, and techniques to increase your insight and accomplish the goals you have set out for yourself. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey!
