Michelle has 17 years of specialized experience in treating eating disorders, anxiety, and OCD. Michelle has also has a deep passion for working with pregnant and postpartum mothers.
Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, an Accredited Clinical Supervisor, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist - Supervisor.
Michelle loves helping people, talking to people, and getting to know people better. Michelle tries to have therapy feel safe, warm and welcoming. Michelle is genuinely open to feedback and always wants to make sure that therapy is meeting the needs and expectations of the individual. Michelle enjoys using humor within therapy sessions and loves connecting with her clients on a human/personal level. Michelle also does not shy away from challenging her clients to make sure that they are able to consider all options, possibilities, viewpoints, etc.
