Hello, I'm Michelle Durham. I work from a trauma-informed, harm reduction, and strength-based perspective. My approach is person-centered with an integrative aspect, meaning I tailor my methods to fit your unique needs and circumstances. I believe in the power of collaboration and coordination within cross-functional team environments to maximize the desired outcomes of your case plan. With over 15 years of experience in direct staff development, coaching, and supervision, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my private practice.
For over 16 years, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse population, including women, men, LGBTQ+, non-binary, and gender nonconforming individuals, as well as couples facing a variety of life challenges. My journey began in community-based nonprofit spaces, where I honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of the complexities people face in their daily lives.
I specialize in areas such as anger management, anxiety, depression, family relationships, gender identity, grief and bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, military and veteran support, multicultural and diversity issues, PTSD, intimate and romantic relationships, sex and intimacy issues, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming, and trauma. Additionally, I offer SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions to provide flexible and accessible care.
Working with me means you'll find a supportive and empathetic space where we can explore your concerns and work towards your goals together. I am committed to helping you navigate life's challenges and transitions with resilience and strength.
If you're ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create a path forward that feels right for you.
