Michal Saraf
I have been a practicing clinical psychologist for 30 years and bring experience in many clinical settings including many years managing a university counseling center, to my work. Being a student at Princeton can be rewarding and challenging on many fronts. I am interested in what you are currently struggling with and how to best harness your agency in finding solutions. I will invite you to share your concerns in the context of your identities and all that is important to you. I am also interested in your history, so we can understand the present in the context of influences from the past. I am trained in psychodynamic theory and practice and use that lens to understand your current difficulties. I seek to create a safe space where a trusting relationship can develop. I am trained in DBT, ACT, AEDP, CBT and trauma-informed therapies and bring a range of interventions to the consultation in an effort to help you identify ways to harness your own agency in affecting desired change. I love the work I do with students and other folks.
