Hello, I'm Michael. With fifteen years of experience in counseling practice, I've dedicated my career to helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges. My practice has a strong focus on supporting combat veterans and their readjustment to civilian life, addressing relationship conflicts, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, and families dealing with substance abuse and incarceration. I also specialize in managing anxiety, depression, anger, and coping with significant life changes.

My goal is to assist you in making practical changes in your life. I believe that therapeutic progress can alleviate suffering and increase satisfaction, but I also understand that this process can be a painful journey, especially when it involves family of origin or significant others. The counseling strategies I use are a blend of developmental, psychodynamic, cognitive, reality therapy, and experiential practices.

At the heart of my work is a client-centered and client-motivated approach. I encourage authentic discussions about these strategies and value your decision-making throughout the process. As the client, you have the power to determine what you want from therapy and what changes you wish to make in your life. I will be your partner and walk with you until you reach your goals.

If you're ready to take the next step towards a more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create the change you desire.
