Melissa Marshall
As a counselor I seek to provide a relationship and a process that balances support with challenge, reflection with action, self-acceptance with change. My extensive background in mindfulness meditation can a be a resource for clients interested in exploring this practice for themselves, as well as for those who simply want to benefit from the spirit of curiosity, kindness, and tolerance it encourages.
I worked for ten years at Tulane in the Office of Educational Resources and Counseling, which preceded CAPS, so I enjoy working with young adults and am familiar with many of the challenges students face. I welcome you to get in touch to discuss your needs and to see if I might be a good fit for you.
