Melissa Lopez-Larson
Dr. Melissa Lopez-Larson is a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist and received her MD from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. She performed her adult and child psychiatry training at Harvard Medical School training sites including Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital and Cambridge Hospital, respectively. She has been practicing for almost 20 years in a variety of settings including academic research, inpatient, residential and outpatient psychiatric services. She currently sees individuals in-person and via tele-psychiatry in Ohio and Utah and via tele-psychiatry only in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Melissa has extensive clinical and research experience and has completed an integrative medicine fellowship in the fall of 2107. Through this fellowship, she has developed a diverse knowledge-base in complementary mind-body techniques to further personalize her approach to help patients heal. In addition, she has additional training and experience in providing advanced and innovative therapies such as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation. Her unique skill set has resulted in the establishment of a practice which combines classic psychiatric services with evidence-based complementary treatments such as supplements, nutrition, meditation and other modalities to provide an individual with a holistic approach to the treatment of mental health related issues.
