Melissa Dominguez
Hi, I'm Melissa! (she/her), and I am a Queer, Latinx, Cisgender, Therapist. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC communities and the mental health struggles that are unique to them. Many of the clients I work with come to therapy with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and gender dysphoria. Some folx also struggle with low self esteem, body image issues, shame/guilt around sexuality and gender identity, difficulty connecting with others, motivation and other stressors such as work and home life.
I provide a kind, non-judgemental, supportive environment for all my clients and work from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, trauma-informed lense. My goal is to use the power of real human connection to build trust and empower my clients throughout the therapeutic process.
Deciding to come to therapy is an awesome first step toward the inner healing you deserve. When you are ready, reach out so we can talk and find out if we are a good fit for one another. Come. As. You. Are. I look forward to meeting with you!
