Often, how we present to the world is how we learned to survive in it.

At our core, we seek to feel seen, heard, loved, and valued. However, our own beliefs that we are unworthy or undeserving of these basic desires lead us to feel anxious or depressed, lonely, disconnected, misunderstood or overwhelmed. Such beliefs about ourselves are built on years of messaging that tell us who we "should" be and bring us further and further away from who we are at our core. By exploring these beliefs, we can work together to heal and to bring you closer to your truest, most authentic self.

In my practice, I use an integrated, culturally responsive approach to healing. Within a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship, you can give yourself the chance to gain insight, build self-compassion and grow in self-awareness.

My practice interests include grief and loss, life stage transition, relationship challenges (with partners, friends, co-workers), family of origin dynamics, personal growth, culture and self-esteem. I have experience working in university and community settings and enjoy working with young adults, graduate students, professionals, and retirees.

If you're reading this, you've already taken the first step in the journey of coming back to who you are, what you want, and how to move in a direction that serves you and that purpose. I'm inviting you to take the next step and make an appointment to come meet yourself.
