This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
Anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders ARE treatable. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life transitions when fear, panic, and OCD interfere with daily functioning and longer-term progress. With compassion and experience, I aim to empower you to overcome obstacles, develop resilience, and achieve emotional well-being. I use evidence-based treatments of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), as well as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to help you experience symptom relief and work toward future goals.
I have a particular interest in women’s mental health, recognizing the immense physical and emotional challenges that accompany pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause. Having raised three children of my own (ages 17, 21, and 23), I have developed a mature perspective on problem-solving and empowering other women toward strength and adaptability. I offer support to parents around parenthood, raising young children and teenagers, and approaching and managing “empty” nests. I also have experience working with children and adolescents struggling with acute anxiety.
I hold an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and am pursuing my Master’s degree in Social Work at Boston College. I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those around me and have a long-standing dedication to community and volunteer work.
I can provide you with paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network sessions.
