To me, therapy is about becoming the best version of you that you can be. Therapy allows you to address current stressors, resolve events from your past that continue to interfere with your life, manage your emotions, and enhance how you navigate this time of transition and new experiences. Therapy can help you identify unhealthy thoughts and behaviors so that you can replace them with strategies and habits that allow you to create a satisfying life.

Seeking therapy does not mean that you are "broken" or that something is wrong with you - it means that you have the courage to ask for assistance to become who you want to be. Therapy can last from a few sessions to several years - it completely depends on what you want to get out of therapy as well as the complexity of the issues you are dealing with and how long they have been present in your life.

My goal as your therapist is to create a place where you feel safe enough to confront the things that hold you back. Throughout our work together I will provide encouragement, honesty, and compassion. I will help you identify your strengths, encourage self-care, and help you establish a balanced life until you are able to do that on your own.
