Meg Goettsches
We are all responsible for who we ultimately become. I find myself constantly inspired by those who choose to take the steps necessary in pursuit of their purest authenticity and the creation of a life they love. It is a brave thing to step into your own power; it is also a challenging journey. If you are ready to begin, I would be honored to walk the path with you.
Using a person-centered intersectional approach, I work with individuals experiencing issues relating to depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, gender identity, orientation, body image, trauma and grief, to name a few.
In addition to attending College of Charleston, I have also taught as an adjunct for the college in some capacity for the past 8 years. I have always loved being able to share knowledge with students and connect with them over common interests.
Having been a student at the college, I can remember what it was like sitting in those classrooms and having to contend with the pressure from the outside world. I can remember what it felt like trying to juggle my mental health, my social life, and academic expectations.
I approach both my teaching and my clinical work from this perspective; life is complicated and sometimes we just need a little help. If you are in that position, I can create the space you need to explore what it is you truly want out of this life.
I offer a free initial 15 minute consultation and am easily reached via text, telephone or email!
