McKenna J. Dean-Davis, MSW, LSWAIC
Since I was young mental health was always a topic in my home, so becoming a 3rd generation therapist was not surprising to those around me. When I realized prioritizing self-care, setting boundaries, & naming feelings were not normal dinner table topics, I wanted to change that. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health and making tools more accessible. My goal is to empower my clients to use their innate gifts and strengths to conquer anything that comes their way. Taking the first step is brave, but continuing to show up and work towards your goals is courageous.
Whether you’re new to therapy or are familiar with the process, starting can feel intimidating with lots of unknowns. I want to ease any sense of worry & help you feel confident about getting started! I offer tele-health sessions so that therapy becomes easily accessible from your home, while traveling, or at your workplace. I also offer in-person if you are in the Spokane area.
We're taught what success is from a very young age, yet self-care is never included in that definition. What if we could have both?! Through creating a therapeutic relationship, I aim to help you add balance to your life without it feeling overwhelming. I believe that you are the expert of Y O U and I hope to provide a space where authenticity is honored.
