I am passionate about working with individuals who are suffering in a variety of ways--past trauma, addiction, life circumstances changing, adults who are struggling to find their place in the world, and ready to stop repeating the same old patterns which bring them back to the same old place. Being human is traumatic enough in and of itself. Pile on some childhood trauma, life circumstances changing beyond your control, and day-to-day stress, and you might find yourself struggling. I'm here to help you stop the pain from turning into ongoing suffering.
I like to keep it simple. Let's get real and work things out in a way that works for you, rather than the way others have told you to do it. I incorporate Somatic Experiencing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems therapy, and Motivational Interviewing in a down-to-earth, no-fluff way to get to the real issues that are hanging you up.
Feel free to reach out to me with questions of your own, as I believe the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative one. I try my best to step down off of the pedestal that mental health professionals are often placed upon to be relatable, real, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. Our relationship is the most important thing that will determine success.
