College is an important and exciting time for personal growth and development, which is why I love working with college students. I see a range of students in my practice including those who are familiar with therapy and those seeking support for the first time. Whether you are dealing with significant mental health challenges or just wishing to make your life work better, I am happy to support you in reaching your goals. Common themes addressed in my practice include: adjusting to college life, achieving greater independence, managing stress and anxiety, navigating difficult relationships, setting healthy boundaries, addressing body image and eating concerns, healing from past traumas and abuse, managing difficult or overwhelming emotions, feeling more comfortable in social situations, improving self-esteem and confidence, addressing compulsive and addictive behaviors, exploring sexuality, improving mood, and developing greater presence and mindfulness.
My approach draws from my training in EMDR, DBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based modalities, as well as my own mindfulness practice. I strive to create a warm, open, and collaborative space to address difficulties, employing your unique strengths and resources to achieve your goals and create a life that is meaningful to you.
I can provide you with paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network sessions.
