Mary Hathaway Busby - Simplify Life Counseling
College, graduate school, and post-grad can be one of the most challenging times of life for so many people. Dealing with changing routines, relationships, identities, and location can be a huge stressor and leave you feeling alone and unequipped to handle all that is going on. I feel passionate that support in these seasons can make all the difference. Whether it's your first time dealing with depression or anxiety, or if they have become a close companion you can't seem to shake, I'd love to join you on your journey towards thriving in whatever stage of life you're in.
I love having the honor of walking along college students and recent grads as they learn more about how to relate to themselves and others and feel more comfortable to take on the challenges that life throws their way.
In the therapy room (or virtual room), I use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), and narrative therapy to best fit the goals you come in with. I believe that you are the expert of your own situation and work from a strengths-based perspective.
I'd love to connect with you and answer any questions you may have about what therapy could look like!
