Hello, I'm Mary Ceballos. I received my advanced training in counseling through Lesley University and am independently licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts. I have had the privilege of providing therapeutic support to many individuals as they navigate various stressors, including anxious episodes, sleep disturbances, lack of motivation, difficulty focusing, reactivity due to traumatic experiences, grief and loss, depressed mood, work-related stressors, and conflicted relationship dynamics, to name a few.
My theoretical lens is trauma-informed, strength-based, adaptive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. I believe in a collaborative journey to discovering relief from distress. My clinical interventions incorporate elements and principles of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing techniques, Narrative Therapy, the theoretical lens of Attachment, Self-Regulation & Competency, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Relapse Prevention Planning. These approaches support individuals seeking relief and resolution from their distress and conflict.
My treatment approach is client-centered, meaning the pacing is set by you. While the journey begins with you taking that first step to start therapy, the process is collaborative. I learn what brought you into treatment, and together we enhance existing tools and learn new strategies that will ultimately bring healing and renewal.
I look forward to helping you on this journey.
