Mary Braden
Hi, I'm Mary, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I help people work through mental health challenges using approaches like CBT, DBT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy, and I have worked with a wide range of clients across many ages and backgrounds. Trauma and EMDR are a particular focus of mine.
I became a therapist because I have always been drawn to people's stories. While I bring expertise in mental health, you are the expert on your own life, and my job is to use a person centered approach to help you organize your thoughts and move toward your goals. I promise to meet you without judgment and to be a present listener. I do not think therapy should feel cold or clinical, so I will put in the work to build a real connection, because connection is where healing happens.
I see clients through WellQor, where I provide therapy entirely online, so we can meet from wherever feels comfortable for you.
