Hello, I'm Martha. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with 11 years of professional experience. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of helping clients navigate a variety of challenges, including stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, bipolar disorder, and depression. My expertise also extends to addiction, schizophrenia, anger management, and numerous other disorders. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Expert. Additionally, I hold certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and incorporate various other counseling techniques into my practice. I believe that each therapeutic approach offers valuable insights and tools that can aid in your healing journey.

My therapeutic philosophy is centered around the belief that you are the expert of your own story. You possess many strengths that can help you overcome the challenges you face. It takes immense courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life, and taking the first steps towards change is a significant achievement. I am here to support and empower you on this journey. Together, we will work to uncover your strengths and build on them to create positive change in your life.

In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and non-judgmental space where your experiences and feelings are valued. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment that fosters trust and openness, allowing you to explore your thoughts and emotions freely. Whether you're dealing with PTSD, OCD, grief, or navigating life transitions, I am committed to providing the support you need.

Outside of my professional life, I am dedicated to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in mental health care. This commitment ensures that I can offer you the most effective and evidence-based treatments available.

It would be an honor to walk with you on your journey towards healing and growth. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
