Marissa Melnikov
People have the capacity for incredible growth and positive change when they create genuine connections that allow them to feel seen and heard. If you are stuck in unhelpful patterns, or feel that you lack the tools and skills to make the changes you want in life, I am here to help. My clients struggle with family issues, existential concerns, self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideation, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My approach is person-centered and relational, and I also pull from modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. I am affirming to marginalized identities, and have additional training on transgender youth and health.
Sessions with me feel supportive and compassionate, but I will also challenge you to identify and outgrow thoughts and behaviors that are no longer serving you. Let’s figure this out together.
