Thank you for considering my support services. I provide two distinct offerings: mental health services as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Life Coaching. If you are experiencing anxiety, academic or family-related stress, limited coping mechanisms, depression, emotional challenges, difficulties in peer relationships, or low self-esteem—and are motivated to pursue professional guidance for positive changes—I am equipped to assist you. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am dedicated to delivering expert guidance, advocacy for vulnerable populations, and assistance through challenging circumstances. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, licensed in Connecticut (License No.: 009597), and hold state certification in school social work.
With three decades of professional experience spanning school, home, outpatient, and child protection settings, I offer comprehensive knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans. Additionally, I have personal insights into managing chronic health conditions as an individual living with Type 1 diabetes and have recently published a book detailing these experiences. I also draw on my perspective as both a parent and stepmother.
My services include individual therapy, family therapy, and advocacy. My mental health services are covered by most medical insurances.
For individuals who are not experiencing mental health challenges but are seeking personal or professional development, Life Coaching may be the most suitable option. If you are seeking greater purpose or direction, or desire change but are unsure where to begin, Life Coaching can facilitate this process.
Distinguishing coaching from therapy:
Psychotherapy primarily addresses mental health concerns, often exploring past experiences and trauma to help clients cope with present-day challenges. The focus is on developing skills to manage difficult emotions.
In contrast, Life Coaching assists clients in setting and achieving specific goals, cultivating new skills, and making positive life changes. It employs a proactive and solution-focused approach, aiming to align your actions with your needs and values. This is accomplished through in-depth inquiry and compassionate self-reflection.
Life Coaching services are available without geographic restriction. If you are prepared to invest in your growth and enhance your quality of life, I invite you to enroll today.
