“When you take care of yourself, you’re a better person for others. When you feel good about yourself, you treat others better.” – Solange Knowles

I strongly believe that you are the expert of your own lived experiences. I’m especially passionate about helping people navigate life transitions—whether related to identity, relationships, parenthood, or other major shifts that may feel overwhelming or uncertain. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as we navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with change.

I blend person-centered and strength-based approaches with a trauma-informed perspective to help clients feel affirmed, empowered, and capable of making meaningful changes. I recognize that we are all impacted by the systems around us, and I bring that awareness into the therapy space with empathy and care.

As someone who identifies with multiple marginalized communities where mental health is often stigmatized, I want to acknowledge how difficult it can be to step into this space. Just showing up is an act of bravery. My hope is that, with my clinical approach and lived experience, we can build a therapeutic relationship that feels meaningful, affirming, and empowering. I’m honored to walk alongside you—and excited about the possibility of working together.

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree, with a minor in Gender Studies, from Central Michigan University. I then continued my education to earn my Master of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University. I am passionate about working with families, as reflected in my previous professional experience in early childhood, child welfare, youth transitional living, and pregnancy/postpartum home visiting services. In my free time, I am dedicated to being a lifelong learner, engaging with the community, and advocating for increased representation of wellness providers of color.

I enjoy spending time with chosen family, reading, cuddling with my fur babies, traveling, and trying new foodie places around town.
